With diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging being at the forefront of business conversations today, it’s worth reflecting back on the past so that we can open up conversations about the history of this country and how it impacts modern society. Many well-intentioned non-minorities in the workplace often avoid conversations around racism because they do not espouse racist beliefs and didn’t overtly participate in racist acts of the past.
